If the Combined Glasses concept we propose is accepted and becomes widespread, our possible predictions are as follows:
1-Increase in clip-frame sales: These frames, originally produced for filters like sunglasses, will become versatile as their clips can now also be used with + lenses, leading to higher sales. Our recommendation is to focus on unisex models.
2-Comfort for progressive lens users improves: Particularly at intermediate distances such as computer screens, clarity with a straight gaze is achieved, increasing satisfaction.
3-Confidence in progressive lenses is renewed: Users who previously moved away from progressive glasses due to reasons like screen use may return, potentially increasing sales of quality progressive lenses.
4-Patients who have to use two progressive glasses, one normal and the other office-type, can use the amount they would pay for both glasses for a single, but higher-quality progressive glass.
5-One frame + one clip = 1.5 glasses joke: Users are freed from the obligation of carrying separate distance-near or office glasses.
6-Sales of + spherical lenses for clips increase: An additional revenue item for opticians and a low-cost, practical solution for patients.
7-Positive feedback for opticians and ophthalmologists: User satisfaction directly reflects positively on service providers.
8-As office glasses become less necessary, there may be a shift from office glasses to the Combined Glasses concept.
9-Clip-frame manufacturers may offer more than two clips and present them in different colors or shades to distinguish them. Spare clip support should be provided when necessary.

12-All ophthalmic phoropter manufacturers should extend the near reading chart arm on the phoropter to 70 centimeters in their new products and also offer this option for their old products.
13-A new reading chart should be designed for 70 cm intermediate distance reading, and in phoropters, the scales for 40 cm and 70 cm should be combined into a single chart.
